A Trip to the Sugarbush, Maple Syrup Festival on International Women's Day

 
The 8th of March was International Women's Day. My clasmates and I went to the Sugarbush, Maple Syrup Festival. It was an interesting experience for us because we learnt how to gather and prepare maple syrup. It was the first time sceing the extraction methods and the long time needed for preparation. But after all of these processing steps, the resulting syrup has a special flavor. Because it was very interesting, I decided that in the future, my family and I will go one more time to the Maple Syrup Festival. It was  a special Women Day, I ended the evening with my husband and our friends having dinner at a Japanese restaurant.
